Lakeville Branch Library - Great Neck Library

The Lakeville Branch of the Great Neck Library just became a Family Place Library. We are a tiny branch that is only one room. We do our best to accommodate because we don't have room for a dedicated space only for children. we have toys on shelves that the children can reach and go to tables to play or the carpet in the back of our tiny room. We don't get children on a regular basis because of the nature of the location. I try to run a children's program ages 0-5 at least once a month such as a Baby storytime or fingerpainting. This month is the first time that a workshop has been done. It is a tiny space that accommodates 10 children maximum. It has been a successful program that the patrons are happy to have here.
