Aldine Branch Library is one of 26 Harris County Public Libraries (HCPL) that follows the Family Place Library initiative. It’s our joy to strengthen our relationship with our parents and local resource professionals in the community. Learning together is always fun, we’re all doing it together. Whether it’s from playtime or reading – Parent’s Collection included – we have an open and inviting space for families. Our library is furnished with comfortable seating for adults, soft carpeting for babies and children, and toys!
We offer multiple story times and most are Bilingual in English and Spanish. HCPL has free year-round sign-ups for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
We are proud to be a library that is an enriching space where both children and their caregivers can learn, grow, and bond through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
