The Mission Viejo Library is dedicated to supporting early learning. We offer a wide range of materials, programs and services for our youngest patrons. From early literacy storytimes to family programs, there’s something for every young person, along with their parents and caregivers. Friendly, expert staff are on site to welcome children and families and help with reading resources, homework research, fun family activities and more. During the pandemic, we offered virtual storytimes, outdoor storytimes, and take-home activity kits to encourage the development of essential learning and literacy skills, and build a lifelong love of reading. Upon return to normal programs and services, we've increased our program offerings and received a grant to create a new Early Learning Center complete with ten iPads, an AAC device, an art mural (to be showcased soon!), and additional programs and staff trainings.
