Sierra Madre Public Library

Our Library has a dedicated space with age-appropriate toys, furniture and computers. All programs for this age group have grown and are at capacity. Any special programs are well-attended and at capacity. Instead of just coming in to check out books and leave, the library is a destination for many parents and their young children every day even when we do not have programs scheduled. We see parents and children making connections with each other and forming friendships and playgroups. We coordinate our programs with those of the City of Sierra Madre so that we complement each other rather than competing as had been the case in the past. Parents have told us they appreciate this.
