The Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library (Broomfield Library) is dedicated to serving the needs of children and families to help give children the best start in life. The Children’s Library offers a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children and their caregivers can read, play and explore together. Through Family Place programs, materials and play spaces, families can engage in positive social interactions, build skills, and find the support and resources they need.
Broomfield Library programs (including Play & Learn for Babies & Toddlers, Storytimes, free Early Childhood Screenings, parenting workshops and more) are a fun way families can connect with each other as well as family-serving agencies and resources in the community.
Library materials include books and databases on parenting topics, picture books adults can share with children to develop skills and support transitions, and specially designed kits to spark curiosity and conversations.
Indoor and outdoor play spaces welcome all families to learn through play, support social and emotional development and strengthen community. The library also has a Mamava lactation space providing parents a clean, quiet and private place to nurse or pump.
Friendly and knowledgeable library staff are always happy to answer questions, offer assistance, and engage with you and your little ones. Welcome to the Broomfield Library!
