Adopting the Family Place model has helped our libraries to thrive, while also supporting our families in ways that make a lasting impact. By focusing on the well-being of the whole child, our libraries offer vibrant community hubs that cater to young children, their caregivers and families. With developmentally appropriate early learning spaces, literacy-based programming, and knowledgeable staff, our libraries intentionally support early literacy and lifelong learning. Smoky Hill Library is a popular destination for families of all sizes, ages, and backgrounds. Arapahoe Libraries’ vision is a literate, informed and fulfilled community. With this investment in our community via Family Place, we see our youngest included in that vision.
