Parents and children play and learn. Parents also have the opportunity to speak with our guest while their children play. Just before the program comes to a close all participants gather for a story, bubbles and a few interactive songs.
Fun Winter Program
One of the many special programs at LRW Library

The Lucy Robbins Welles Library's many programs are back! In many of the weekly programs a craft is offered at the end of the storytime. Morning storytimes and an evening storytime happen weekly. We also offer many special programs each month. Please check out our website for information on all the programs we have to offer. The Children's Staff does their best to reach out to the community with reading recommendations by recording booktalks and offering reading lists with summaries. These recommendations can also be found on the website. The LRW Library offers book collections as well. Simply call the Children's Department at 860-665-8720 and let us know the topic you are working with. We will pull a collection of books which will be ready for you when you arrive at the library. Curbside pickup is also still available. All information can be found on the Lucy Robbins Welles Library's Website https://www.newingtonct.gov/2428/Library.
