Seymour Public Library

Our library has a separate children's room with various age appropriate areas within it. The space you see in the last photo is just a small area of our large children's room. In this small area, you will find a desk with coloring materials, picture books, easy readers, and a parent shelf. There are normally age appropriate toys and puzzles available for play, however due to a rise in contagious illnesses, we do put the toys away for the winter. We were lucky enough this past year to receive money from our library board to purchase all new materials for our Parent Child Workshop, with the most popular of those items being the new kitchen and play food. These new workshop materials have helped us bring new families to the library, and in return the families have been educated on different topics from our partnering agencies and have learned to love the library. We look forward to another year of Parent Child Workshops and other fun and exciting library programs!
