Dover Public Library

The Family Place initiative has had a very positive impact on the Dover community. Our play spaces which include a kitchen, train table, dollhouse, blocks and other imaginative toys provide a place for families to meet and have quality interactions. Programs for young children and their caregivers which include Mother Goose on the Loose, Shake Your Rattle and Roll, Baby!, Come and Play!, and the Family Place Workshops are all popular events. In addition to books, we also offer toys and themed backpacks for check out. Since the implementation of the Family Place core components, the Children's Room at the Dover Public Library has become a destination for families with young children.
