Keene Public Library

Since 2018 we have dedicated a large basement room to early childhood education programming. This room is equipped with a variety of multi-sensory and STEM play equipment. Every Monday morning we have a special sensory play program for children ages 0 - 6 and their caregivers. This program provides opportunities for imaginative play, STEM investigation and tinkering, art making, as well as large motor activities that encourage child & caregiver engagement as well as cooperative or parallel play between children. Each Monday morning we have an average of 50 people (adults and children) in attendance.
