At the Nashua Public Library, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where families can learn, grow, and connect. Since April 2019, we have proudly been recognized as a Family Place Library, highlighting our commitment to supporting family engagement, early childhood literacy, and community well-being.

In 2024, we continued to offer our Play and Learn Workshops, tailored for children from birth to age three, to foster early development and provide a supportive space for parents and caregivers. These workshops, held both within the library and at offsite locations, have been met with strong support, helping parents and caregivers build valuable connections while accessing a wealth of resources and professional expertise.

Our library also hosts an extensive range of literacy, play-based, and STEAM programs designed for children from birth to age five. These programs, including our highly successful story times for all ages, continue to be a cornerstone of our offerings, attracting families and fostering a love of learning from an early age.

In 2024, we expanded our focus on parent and caregiver support, offering an increasing number of parent education programs in partnership with local professionals in health, child development, and family wellness. These workshops and interactive sessions have empowered parents and caregivers with valuable tools to support their children’s growth while fostering a stronger sense of community.
