In 2024, Family Place continued to make a significant impact on our library, creating a welcoming space for families and young children.
Two more staff members attended the training institute, and brought back some fresh ideas to rework some of our toddler programming and play spaces.
Our Play & Learn workshop was a popular program, enriching the lives of toddlers and their parents/caregivers and cultivating meaningful connections with community resource professionals. A special bonus of the program was the chance to see the bonds that formed not only between the parents and their children but also between the parents. It was a pleasure to witness parents swapping stories, sharing tips, commiserating and enjoying the journey of parenting together.
Our space remained a sought-after haven for families looking to connect and play.
We value the privilege of playing a role in the lives of families with young children in Brentwood.
