Hauppauge Public Library

The Hauppauge Public Library strives to meet the educational, informational and entertainment needs of the residents of the Islip Town portion of the Hauppauge School District, including our youngest guests and their caregivers.  Our newly refreshed Children’s Department includes areas for dramatic and imaginative play, a writing center, and plenty of comfortable seating for parents/caregivers.  In addition to the Parent Child Workshop, we offer many regular classes for children ages birth-age 5 and their caregivers, including Baby & Me and Little Mover Storytimes, and Gather & Grow, a casual group for caregivers to develop friendships and find support.  Throughout the year, we also provide classes focused on music, movement, and art, including Miss Dara Sings, Zumbini, Sprouts & Friends, and Mini Masters.  We welcome the opportunity to support family and child development in our community.
