Our early childhood play space has really become a focal point of our children's department. We recently had a bright and beautiful mural painted on our wall by one of our patrons and have mounted a large interactive rainbow toy to our wall. We have covered our shelves in brightly colored contact paper and have many types of toys: puzzles, various types of blocks, a kitchen with kitchen utensils and play food, letter and number magnetic tiles, sensory tubes, magnetic blocks, and more. The result of our renovation and refreshing of the area has been amazing - our patrons absolutely love the space. We have really noticed a wonderful change with regards to this space and it makes us so happy. We also have a preschool station for slightly older children, and they can work on simple concept projects featuring colors, shapes, letters, and numbers.
