Riverhead Free Library

The Riverhead Free Library is part of the Family Place Libraries™ network offering an array of enjoyable and essential free programs and services for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, parents and caregivers. The Children’s Department ‘s Family Place area allows children and their families to read, learn, grow, and explore in an area that is safe and fun. This space is designed specifically for children and parents that feature age appropriate materials including board books, picture books, toys, puzzles, blocks, and a drawing station, all of which allow your child to explore. All of these opportunities are great ways to build your child’s early literacy skills.
