Warr Acres Library - Metropolitan Library System

This full-service library, a spacious and beautiful 12,500 square foot building, has served the Warr Acres and west Oklahoma City communities since September 9, 1967. One of the first libraries to be incorporated into the Metropolitan Library System, Warr Acres was built with bonds issued in 1965 and with federal matching funds. Our 123! Play with Me programs are filled with engaging activities that focused on dramatic play, art exploration, gross motor skill development, and music exploration. A free book and handouts are also included. This program is intended for children ages 0 - 4 and a caregiver and is held 8 times throughout the year.
