Southern Lehigh Public Library's Family Place Programming allows for families with children ages 5 years old and younger to come to the library for a variety of free programming. During these programs children and their parents/caregivers are given a safe and inviting environment to play and learn together, which in turn strengthens their bond. Parents/Caregivers are also given the opportunity to interact and learn from various community child development specialists on a wide range of topics. Furthermore, our Family Place Programs allow for parents/caregivers and their children to interact with other parents/caregivers and their children of similar ages, forming new friendships and fostering community.
