Guthrie Memorial Library - York County Libraries

The Children’s Library at Guthrie Memorial Library is a community center for early literacy and learning, education, engagement, family support, and community connectivity — ensuring all children enter school ready and able to learn. At Guthrie Memorial Library we know that good health, early learning, parental involvement, and supportive communities play a role in a young child’s growth and development. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers spend hours playing with their children in our dedicated children’s library. Our space is equipped with a variety of toys for children ages birth to 5 years, plus games for older children. We are known for our fun and educational activities for everyone in the family, and our early childhood programs are designed to meet state educational standards.
