This is the general set-up of our Play & Connect program in our Community Room, including playtime stations and an information/resources station.

D.A.R.T. Dogs: Dogs Are Readers Too! Local therapy dogs come to the library weekly to visit with families. Seen here, a child reading with Izzy the Greyhound and her trainer.

Nana's Corner is our Early Literacy Center, including board books, leveled readers, reading buddies (stuffies), a parent section, and early literacy prompts and resources.

Thanks to Family Place Libraries, we have been able to promote our library as a safe and welcoming early childhood and family resource center. Our "Play & Connect" program helps families connect with local community resource professionals and view the library as a community hub just as much as a learning hub.
