As a Family Place Library, Radnor Memorial Library’s aim is to encourage creative play in an age-appropriate environment and equip caregivers with child development resources. Visitors to the Radnor Memorial Library can spend time enjoying our Family Place play area, stocked with toys, puzzles, and baby books while browsing our Parenting books and other materials. We offer an annual Parent-Child Workshop as well as regular weekly storytimes for ages birth to 5 years. We provide additional support for rising kindergartners through our Kindergarten Readiness activities: Kindergarten Readiness Camp, resource lists, and 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten incentive program. Radnor Memorial Library has become a community destination for play and parenting support because of our emphasis on early literacy and early childhood development in all our interactions and program design. We are fortunate enough to be able to partner with community resources that have inspired connections for many families with young children in the Radnor area.
