Upper Moreland Free Public Library

Our Family Place Library is a free space where all families in our extended community are welcome! It is a non-traditional library space; we don't expect our users to quietly read (unless they feel like it!) Our families are encouraged to play, laugh, learn, explore, and be loud while they enjoy each other and all that the library has to offer. Upper Moreland Free Public Library has grab and go Pre-K Kits available monthly for children and caregivers to continue to learn and explore their world from home! Developmentally appropriate activities, resources, challenges, and playtime suggestions are provided so children can learn while they play! In 2024 the Family Place Parent & Child workshops brought several new families to the library, introducing them to all the services Upper Moreland Free Public Library offers, and connecting them with resources to help their families grow stronger. We are constantly adding new items to the children's Room, including furniture, toys and sensory items. The room has doors so that little ones and roam and explore in a safe area and caregivers can enjoy a relaxing playtime.
