Buda Public Library

The Buda Public Library's Family Place provides a welcoming community environment offering resources families can utilize that nurture their children's development beginning at birth to help ensure children enter school ready to learn. Our specially-designed play area features fun picture books, educational toys, puzzles, blocks, a kitchen and much more. Through play, children learn about their world and develop essential early literacy skills. In addition, parents can take home "Storytime in a Bag" to enjoy storytime at their homes. Each storytime kit comes with literacy information and tips. Beginning this fall and spring, the library will offers a weekly workshop over the course of five weeks where parents or caregivers come together to play, make friends, visit one-on-one with resource professionals, and have a great time. Success starts early at the Buda Public Library!
