Main Branch - McAllen Public Library

MPL has become a hub for families to gather, share and learn. Our play space is a safe place for children to play and socialize. Parents and caregivers engage with their children, share advice and learn about new available resources everyday. With growing diversity in our community the programs and resources we provide give parents/caregivers confidence to interact and engage with their children no matter what age. The Parenting collection includes materials for parents/caregivers and children on a variety of topics in both English and Spanish. Parent information from local and state organizations lets our patrons know what services and resources are available to them. As a Family Place Library, we continue to create partnerships, provide valuable resource and engaging programming for our growing community.
