The Mayor Joe V. Sanchez Public Library offers free parent-child workshops during the Fall, Winter, and Spring for children ages 0-5. These workshops provide parents with opportunities to engage in play and reading activities with their children in a well-equipped space featuring toys, blocks, books, art, and music areas.
This five-week program focuses on child development, speech, nutrition, music, and early literacy, with special guest speakers share valuable insights on these topics Families greatly appreciate the resources and information provided by guest agencies and organizations.
Beyond the workshops, we offer a variety of fun and educational programs for children ages 0-5 and their families to continue their learning journey. Our Children’s Area is always available during library hours and is stocked with toys, books, and interactive materials for young learners to enjoy.
