Our community, like many others, has experienced rapid growth in young and first-time families. In response, our library has become a welcoming, cost-free, indoor gathering space where caregivers can connect, access valuable resources, and find support. Through the Family Place Libraries initiative, we’ve created an environment that fosters a love of libraries from an early age while also serving as a hub for parent education and community engagement.

By offering a safe space for caregivers to socialize and access essential services, we help families thrive. Our Parenting Collection and Family Place workshops provide valuable learning opportunities, and our staff regularly connects families with much-needed community resources. As a result, our library has evolved into a true "third place"—a vital part of family life beyond home and work—where strong relationships are built and nurtured.

Nothing brings us greater joy than seeing a once-shy child eagerly run through our doors to share a story or experience with the staff. The Family Place initiative has allowed us to become an integral part of so many families' lives, and in turn, they have become an irreplaceable part of ours.
