High Meadows Branch Library- Harris County Library

The High Meadows Branch Library is proud to have a Family Place Library available to its community. Our spacious children’s area contains a variety of developmentally appropriate toys and materials including puzzles, dramatic play items, blocks, books, and more! Our Family Place Library offers an opportunity for children to know and use the library as an early childhood and family resource center to ensure that ALL children enter school ready and able to learn. We support families by providing helpful materials in our Parenting Collection as well as a child-friendly space to play and bond with their children. Our Parent/Child Workshops offer not only a chance for young children ages 1-3 and their caregivers to play and meet other families, but also an opportunity to informally interact with community resource specialist from a local agency who can offer professional expertise and answer any questions related to their child’s development.
