Parker Williams Branch Library- Harris County Library

Parker Williams Library has been a Family Place Library for nearly five years. Designed with the growth and enrichment of child development in mind, our space is filled with an array of engaging toys and carefully selected items, designed to ignite creativity and curiosity. From interactive puzzles to cozy reading nooks, there's something here to captivate every young mind. Plus, our parent resources offer valuable support and guidance, ensuring that every visit is not just entertaining, but also enriching and supportive. In 2023 the Family Place Area and Workshops impacted the community by providing our caregivers with a safe space to ask questions, interact with their children, and socialize with other families. We were able to offer the Family Place Workshop in a few years due to Covid which was very exciting for us and our families.
