White Lake Community Library

Our Family Place Library provides everyday opportunities for children and their families to play and learn in a safe, comfortable, welcoming environment that is available free of charge. Creative and dramatic play options, fine motor and large motor activities, and early literacy offerings all work together to offer rich experiences for families and help prepare our youngest patrons for school success. Scheduled and drop-in events for young children include Family Nights, Story Trails, and Parent Child Workshops.

We receive frequent comments from people about how much they love the children's programming here at the library. The families love to show up early and leave late to our programs! It's so nice to offer young families a place where they can play and interact with their children and meet other parents/caregivers. The special bonus for parents/caregivers is that 1,2,3 Play with Me (PCW) offers a unique opportunity to interact with a professional in some aspect of early childhood health and development each week in a relaxed and informal setting.
