Alice McKean Young Neighborhood Library - Houston Public Library

Family Place has become an anticipated program for the caregivers and children in our community.  With the conveniency of resource professionals being readily available, parents/caregivers take advantage of their presence to soak up information and ask questions.  The bonds both parent/caregiver and children have made with one another is ongoing as we see their continued interactions after the Parent Child Workshops have ended.  Programs that we like to highlight that have stemmed from Family Place includes Toddler Playdate, a five-week series featuring creative and collaborative play
