Penrose Library- Pikes Peak Library District

Penrose Library is located in the bustling downtown area of Colorado Springs and is one of the libraries of the Pikes Peak Library District. Our Family Place location coordinates and collaborates with other libraries and family organizations in the Pikes Peak region. Over the past year, we have focused on creating experiences for families with children of all ages by rotating toys and activities through the children's space centered around a singular theme. This year's themes include Fantasy, Rainforest, and Adventure Begins at Your Library. Our programs for families with children ages 0 to 5 include Storytime, Toddler Time, Music and Movement, Baby Time, Create and Play, Stay and Play, Sensory Storytime, and Family Place Play Groups.
