North Channel Branch Library - Harris County Library

North Channel Branch Library has benefited greatly from its new status as a Family Place Library! We have new families actively seeking out our library from seeing our location listed as a Family Place Library online.  Our community has also benefited from the extra community contacts we have made and it's becoming increasing clear to them that we are so much more than just a building with books and are a true community center and meeting place. Baby and Toddler program attendance and families visiting the library have both increased exponentially. 

Overall, attendance at all library programs has increased with the amount of new families visiting us. We are very thankful to have been trained in Family Place best practices, to have received generous grant money, and to be able to offer area families a beautifully improved Children's Area with a new toy and parent collection plus new furniture.
