The Canton branch of the Haywood County Public Library, 11 Pennsylvania Ave., has been officially designated as a Family Place Library, the first in North Carolina. Family Place Libraries help libraries become vital centers for early learning, parent engagement, family support and community connectivity, ensuring that children get the best start in life.
